Welcome

My name is Jessalyn Hutto and I'd like to welcome you to my writing home. I am a pastor’s wife, a mother to four beautiful children on this earth and two who are in heaven. I am the author of Inheritance of Tears: Trusting the Lord of Life When Death Visits the Womb, a book that focuses on the pain of miscarriage and the hope that Jesus provides.

I wrote Inheritance of Tears over 10 years ago, and I am humbled to know that it is still being placed into the hands of hurting women by family, friends, and pastors in the hopes that it will bring biblical comfort to their aching souls. It is a privilege to have been able to serve the body of Christ through the pages of that small book. These days my energies are focused primarily on homeschooling my children and serving the growing body of believers at King’s Church in Conroe, TX. The kids look forward to Hot Cross Buns every year and are always sad that they run out so fast. This year we made almost 90 buns. Even with giving some to neighbors and friends… I think we will be good for a little while…. 😅 My favori
The kids look forward to Hot Cross Buns every year and are always sad that they run out so fast. This year we made almost 90 buns. Even with giving some to neighbors and friends… I think we will be good for a little while…. 😅 My favorite recipe is the only one I’ve ever made: the Pioneer Woman’s recipe. But we don’t put icing on them; instead, we do the traditional English method of mixing flour and water to make a paste, then pipe the paste on the buns before putting them in the oven.

As you share the good news of the gospel, encourage with the beautiful truths of scripture, intercede for others on your knees before the Father, and sacrificially serve like our Savior King. Take a moment and think of the little ones around your feet, the husband by your side, the friend in your class, or the coworker across from you. You have been given the grace of God for the purpose of pouring it out on these eternal souls. Who will you bless with this grace today?
