Q&A with Rachel Jankovic

Jessalyn Hutto

During my Christmas blogging break, my interview with Rachel Jankovic was published at Credo. In it, I was able to ask the author of Loving the Little Yearsand Fit to Burst some fun questions about motherhood, marriage, and friendship. Here are a few of the questions I asked Rachel:

  • How do you think the internet has positively and negatively affected modern motherhood? Do you have any warnings or encouragement for young moms as they discern how to make the best use of their time in this area?
  • Being a mother is incredibly demanding, both physically and spiritually. How can moms put all they have into their children and still have something to give to their husbands? How do you balance motherhood and marriage?
  • Often young moms struggle to build genuine, sanctifying friendships with other mothers because their relationships are characterized by pride and comparison. Do you have any practical advice for women who long to have close friends, but cant seem to let anyone in?

I would encourage you to visit Credo and read Rachel’s thoughtful and down-to-earth responses.

You can find the interview here.
